Adopt a stone, a commitment to historical memory
On Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in the T. Degan Room of the Pordenone Civic Library, the initiative ‘Adopt a Stone’ will be presented. Through its students, who become ‘active citizens,’ the school is committed to caring for these local common goods, which are also global goods. Taking care of a Stumbling Stone means taking care of history.

Stumbling Stones: the new web portal that gives voice to memory
On Friday, 30 January, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sala Degan of the Pordenone Civic Library, MEDIASTUDIO presented pietredinciampo.com, the first dynamic and responsive web portal dedicated to the Stumbling Stones of Pordenone and Ronchi dei Legionari. The result of a joint effort, the project involves students from the Leopardi Majorana High School together with ANED of Pordenone and Ronchi.

Holocaust Remembrance Day 2026 in Pordenone: a program rich in remembrance
The Municipality of Pordenone is marking Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27) with a rich calendar of events from January 22 to February 3, 2026, including ceremonies, exhibitions, guided tours, and school activities. At the heart of the program are the stories of Holocaust victims and the Stumbling Stones (Stolpersteine) that preserve their memory.
