Orlando Serafin was born in San Vendemiano (Treviso) on 28 July 1921.
He was arrested on 1 August 1944 and imprisoned in the Udine jail; on 16 August 1944 he was deported to Germany. During an attempted escape from the transport convoy, he was killed on 23 September 1944 in Schwörstadt, along the Rhine River.
Orlando was a partisan of the Garibaldi Natisone Division, GAP Garibaldi Trieste Battalion and brother of Ida Serafin.
