Maria Turolo was born on 5 April 1890 in Porpetto (Udine) and lived at Via Redipuglia 57.
She was arrested together with her husband Domenico Candotto following a denunciation during the roundup of 24 May 1944 and taken to the Coroneo prison in Trieste. After interrogation, she was put on transport no. 49, which departed from Trieste on 1 June 1944 for Auschwitz, where she was killed.
Maria was a courier of the GAP Bruno Montina Battalion.
