Lino Furlan was born on
12 July 1919 in
Ronchi dei Legionari and lived at Via San Vito 19.
After imprisonment in the Coroneo prison in Trieste, he was deported on 28 January 1944 on transport no. 23 to
Mauthausen, where he arrived on 30 January 1944 and was registered under prisoner number 50863, listed as a
sailor. He was transferred to the
Loiblpass subcamp, then returned to
Mauthausen, subsequently to
Auschwitz, and finally, on 28 January 1945, to
Dora, where he was registered under number 10819. He died on 18 March 1945 in
Salza (
Dora).
Lino was a
partisan of the Garibaldi Natisone Division,
sergeant of the Garibaldi Trieste Battalion.
