Giovanni Olivo was born on 19 March 1913 in Begliano and lived at Via Raparoni 35 in Ronchi dei Legionari.
Arrested in San Canzian d’Isonzo, after imprisonment in the Coroneo prison in Trieste he was deported on transport no. 116 on 11 January 1945 to Flossenbürg, where he arrived on 14 January 1945 and was registered under prisoner number 41924. He was then transferred to Hersbruck (a subcamp of Flossenbürg) on 29 January 1945, and subsequently to Dachau on 9 March 1945, where he was registered under number 151916 and killed on 14 May 1945.
Giovanni was a partisan of the Garibaldi Natisone Division, Garibaldi Trieste Battalion.
