Bruno Violin was born in Aquileia (Udine) on 23 August 1919 and lived in Ronchi dei Legionari at Via Fornaci 1.
Arrested in Doberdò del Lago on 12 November 1944, after imprisonment in the Coroneo prison in Trieste he was deported on 11 January 1945 on transport no. 116 to Flossenbürg, where he arrived on 14 January 1945 and was registered under prisoner number 42073. He was then transferred to the Hersbruck subcamp on 29 January and subsequently to Dachau on 9 April 1945, where he was killed on 19 May 1945.
Bruno was a partisan of the Garibaldi Natisone Division, sergeant of the Garibaldi Trieste Battalion.
