Armando Maturo was born in Sestri Levante on 15 November 1908 and lived at Via Mazzini 49 in Ronchi dei Legionari.
He was arrested following a denunciation during the roundup of 24 May 1944 and taken to the Coroneo prison in Trieste. After interrogation, he was put on transport no. 48, which departed on 31 May 1944 and arrived in Dachau on 2 June 1944, where he was registered under number 69680 as a political deportee (red triangle). On 16 June 1944 he was transferred to Allach (a subcamp of Dachau) under prisoner number 23517; he returned to Dachau on 4 October 1944 and was killed on 8 February 1945.
Armando was a partisan of the Garibaldi Natisone Division, Garibaldi Trieste Battalion.
