Antonio Franzi was born in Ronchi dei Legionari on 1 August 1911 and lived at Via Matteotti 20.
He was arrested following a denunciation during the roundup of 24 May 1944 and taken to the Coroneo prison in Trieste. After interrogation, he was put on transport no. 48, which departed on 31 May 1944 and arrived in Dachau on 2 June 1944, where he was registered under number 69634 as a political deportee (red triangle). On 16 July 1944 he was transferred to Leonberg (a subcamp of Natzweiler) and registered under number 23464; he returned to Dachau on 4 October 1944 and was killed on 28 January 1945.
Antonio was a partisan of the GAP Bruno Montina Battalion.
